Creative Solutions.

  • Successfully implemented a new employee engagement sponsorship model to meet the changing needs and goals of external stakeholders. After overseeing coordination of the partners and working groups engaged in the project, the approach was adopted by the organization and is now a standard model. This method generated over $250,000 and covered indirect costs, netted additional revenue for the organization, and provided direct funding for local communities.

Event Design.

  • Part of the special project team for the single largest national fundraising event in Special Olympics history. Designed, deployed and monitored a complex fundraising platform used to maintain participant records and steward over 18,616 new donors.

  • Produced a long-term integrated event strategy for the new national collegiate event series resulting in 52% new donor acquisition, quadrupled revenue growth, and produced a significant increase in program participation in 2.5 years. This innovative concept enabled Special Olympics to package its programmatic efforts as a sellable asset.

Marketing.

  • Led efforts in the research, testing and development of new campaigns to raise revenue and brand value with key stakeholders.

  • Spearheaded the development of a new marketing and awareness month.

  • Created, tested and successfully executed grassroots marketing strategies that targeted and identified key donor influencers to increase awareness and event registrations.

  • Identified and secured in-kind brand placement totaling over $2 million which created brand awareness opportunities in key markets for Special Olympics.

Asset Development.

  • Researched and analyzed the development of projects that led to new strategic, revenue generating assets and opportunities.

  • Created comprehensive fundraising guides to ensure high-level performance by teams driving overperformance and meeting fundraising goals.
